A member of American Mensa, Craig Rubinstein received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, cum laude, from Brandeis University. While a student at Boston University School of Law, from which he received his Juris Doctor degree, in addition to being a member of the Kaufman Securities Law Moot Court Team, he authored “Excessive Mutual Fund Advisory Fees: Give-Ups in Rule 12b-1 Clothing?”, which was published in the Annual Review of Banking Law.

 

Mr. Rubinstein has a hybrid practice of business transactional and litigation services. Mr. Rubinstein handles a variety of business litigation matters, including legal and accounting malpractice, securities litigation, real estate litigation, corporate litigation, partnership litigation, and probate litigation. Mr. Rubinstein also negotiates and drafts a variety of documents related to the purchase, sale, and operation of businesses and real estate, including purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, promissory notes, and security agreements in a variety of industries and sectors, such as medical offices, law firms, and alcohol and drug detoxification centers. The careful drafting of these documents will in many instances prevent future litigation from arising.

Mr. Rubinstein is a member of the Bars of the State of Florida and the State of New York, and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He is a past chairman of Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “C”.
